The Tongchuan Health Garden Hotel is located within the Tongchuan City Culture and high-rise apartment towers, 3-level townhomes and a five-star luxury hotel resort. The dynamic form of the 220 key hotel is derived from the 800 kilometer long mountain ridge that connects the Qingling Mountain Range in the north to the southern tip of the Great Wall. Existing and proposed bodies of water were used as a major theme and link to both connect and separate the different program uses. The unique glass atrium lobby between the hotel volumes mimics the valley between two mountain ranges and reinvents the traditional landscaped courtyards and gardens symbolic of ancient China.
